Cape Deslacs

Monday 6th March 2017

Cape Deslacs
We had a good little short walk to Cape Deslacs and beyond, starting and finishing at the Clifton Beach Surf Club. We walked along the beach to Cape Deslacs and then simply followed the well worn track of others to the lookout where the mutton birds have an abundance of nests, along the coast north to the private property and back to the cars via Pipe Clay Lagoon. The weather was overcast for the whole morning but other than that it was a great way to fill in a part of the day.
A good short walk with nice coastal scenery.
Distance: 10.5 kms.
Time: 2'33"
Ascent: 180 metres
