Cathedral Rock |
The walk starts in Betts Road at the car park and proceeds along a road before entering Wellington Park. The track follows beside the North West Bay River for some time before connecting to the Betts Fire Trail. The terrain beside the river is quite appealing.
The fire trail gradually wends its way uphill before arriving at the zig zag section which becomes quite steep. It gradually flattens out as the top of Betts Hill approaches. The Cathedral Rock track branches off to the right at the saddle and climbs steeply uphill to the summit of Cathedral Rock.
As it was a clear day great views were presented to us at the top.
A great little short walk that provides a decent workout.
