We had a nice easy walk in Bluff River Gorge today, following the same route as in 2014. See that post for route directions here.
The only thing out of the ordinary was a rather aggressive little tiger snake hissing at us as we passed it as it was soaking up the heat from the sun's rays. It was not too impressed by our presence so we gave it a wide berth.
A good walk with great sandstone formations.
Bush walking mainly in South East Tasmania, and the odd walk in other parts of the state, as well as the occasional snippet of something else Tasmanian.

Pancake Bay
Saturday 25th February 2017
I was going to walk around to Pebbly Bight in the far south starting at Cockle Creek, today, but one member of the party was not too keen on the rock hopping onwards from Fishers Point , so instead of splitting up we decided to cut the walk short at Pancake Bay. It was still a great short walk on another perfect day. For route directions see the Pebbly Bight walk.

Snowy South
Tuesday 21st February 2017
I went for a walk to Snowy South today. It was a fantastic day except for the cloud on the summit which blocked all the views. It did not matter as there was plenty to see from the Snowy Range plateau after I descended from the summit. I took a slightly different route to the summit this time, following the cairned route instead of going via the tarn. It did not really matter as either route is okay. See post from 2013 here.
This is a great walk with fantastic scenery.
